Price for leaving Islam

The fact that paying for leaving Islam is a great price can tell anyone who has left Islam if they come from conservative and religious families. Foreclosure, mockery and murder are some of the consequences that former Muslims face. Others are pushed into depression and suicide.
These are the visible methods, but less conservative families resort to mental abuse such as ignorance, extortion, and massive attempts to persuade the apostle to change their minds. There are also strong interventions that make the apostate believe that they have made the wrong choice. Questions like: Are you sure you are not confused, you are not afraid to go to hell, or more manipulative questions that go directly to the person’s intelligence and ability to make an independent choice. When you are faced with doubts about your own intelligence, you may at worst think that you are what you are referred to as.
Call it the dark secret of Islam, but leaving faith is not popular. Islam as the world’s second largest religion demands total submission of its members, but more and more freemasons are liberating themselves from these links. These are ready to help others break out and give others apostates.
Several ex-Muslims I have talked to have the same experience of reading the Quran and memorizing it in Arabic. They understood a little of what they had read now, but the most important thing was to be able to remember many quotes one did not understand at all. These had families praying in Arabic, without understanding what the content of the prayer was.
The sense of shame
Another common experience of these ex-Muslims was the extremely strong sense of shame. The shame of leaving something you’ve been persuaded to believe was the only thing right, making many uncertain. But isolation is the major reason why many stay in religion and suppress their own needs to be free from their religion. This fear and isolation affect both sexes, but leaving Islam is the worst for the woman. Recently we saw how a young Rahaf Mohammed al-Qunum escaped from Saudi Arabia to Canada.
This brave young woman risked her life to experience freedom from a religion that would hold her down. The kind of brave action is not easily deleted. It is unique that a Muslim girl gets so much media coverage to break out of Islam. But it is a great pleasure for all the others who are considering breaking out. An example to follow.
In the Somali environment, many people today want to break out. For many, this is only a dream that is difficult to realize. Fortunately, we see a strong increase in Somalis who break out internationally, and these need the West’s support to survive. If Islam is to be renewed or at all going through a modern shift, then many ex-Muslims dare to say loudly why they left Islam. Promotions like #Exmuslimbecause are outrageously important for this progress.
This campaign was very popular for a period, and the time it lasted, it managed to gather thousands of brave skippers into a great community. Now it just remains to see if it can start again. If that happens, it will be very difficult for the imams to hold on to their indoctrinated members.
